  • The final proper design: Smart Home of the future

My fascination with computer electronics started in the 1970's (while I was still a high school student) in Orange County, California. Many call Orange County, "Silicon Valley II". I grew up in a place called Mission Viejo, which I called, "The Land of the Entrepreneurs".

I served in the military, traveled the world, lived in some exciting places (my favorite being Washington DC), went to college and worked as a sales engineer for TTL, a high tech Audio/Video manufacturer from Taiwan. I also competed as a black belt in Japanese Shito-Ryu Karate for 15 years.

I later moved to Phoenix, Arizona and worked for Summit Electric Supply where I became an EPEC (Electrical Product Education Course) Graduate, and then went to work for Graybar ELectric where I received my CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association). I also owned and operated the Red Mountain Karate Club while working full-time.

I moved to Las Vegas in 2003 where I founded a Smart Home Automation software development company called LAMBDA TD Software. We work from a highly developed financial model that creates multiple web-based revenue streams, and our business plan has been awarded the highest 4 STAR Rating from Funding Universe.

The name of our product is the LFE™ Five (pronounced "Life 5") Smart Home.  We make the first cloud-based smart home & universal remote control platform in the world today.  The LFE™ Five addresses the five core elements of the smart home of the future: 1) home media & entertainment, 2) security & surveillance, 3) HVAC climate controls, 4) electrical appliances and lighting controls, and 5) all forms of analog & digital communications.

We are not a content provider- but a homeowner service- to control and manage the center of the universe: the family home. And while our competition is still using 1980's proprietary technology, we are web-based and provide a homeowner control of virtually everything in their home and provide a managed communication system with the world at large- whether locally or remotely- the LFE™ Five is more than a simple home control system, but a dynamic personal valet for your unique lifestyle.  We are publicly listed on the German Stock Market (Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Berlin Stock Exchange, Stuttgart Stock Exchange & XETRA : Symbol: XLS, ISIN: US51327T1051, WKN: A0YJT2) but aspire to a NASDAQ IPO eventually.  We have a robust and scalable product, a multiple-revenue stream financial model, an experienced management team, large project LOIs and will soon have a $50 Million USD development contract with a major intl. construction company. We are a brick-and-mortar web development company that will change the world- one family home at a time. "For me there is only the traveling on the paths that have a heart, on any path that may have a heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge for me is to traverse its full length. And there I travel--looking, looking, breathlessly." -- Carlos Castenada

We have ways of making you talk.

Hello, and welcome to the LAMBDA TD Software weblog.  My name is Rob and I will be your Sherpa Guide.  I'm co-inventor of the LAMBDA LFEā„¢ and co-founder of LAMBDA TD Software.  It's another Friday night on the laptop, and because I am an entrepreneur- I have no friends!  So, as the Japanese like to say, "The room is never empty when the mind is full." Anyways, I do have a joke if you're interested:

This is a slightly true story that occurred during World War II (WW2 for you old VFW Vets- "Thank you by the way.").  The story is about an American fighter pilot that got shot down behind enemy lines.  He was captured and taken to a Nazi Prisoner of War Camp.  It was called Stalag 13 (referenced for any of you "Hogan's Heroes" fans).  The Kommandant was a ruthless and vile man, by the name of Kommandant Klink.  And each and everyday, rain or shine; in heat or snow, he would force all of the American prisoners to muster in formation outside in the yard and stand at attention.  Then he would force them to pretend that they were all clocks by simultaneously tilting their heads to the left and shouting, "TICK!", and then tilting their heads to the right and shouting, "TOCK!".  He would demand that the prisoners do this for hours on end and it would bring him the greatest amusement to have these brazen and indomitable spirited American prisoners do such a silly and demeaning exercise.  The Kommandant was merciless in his demands for the precision of this drill and he would measure time with it on the precision of his Swiss time clock.  This was all just senseless brutality (I tell you).

Well, one brand new prisoner, an American pilot, was going to have none of this.  He was a dignified soldier and would demand only that the Kommandant adhere to the humane and decent treatment of all prisoners during wartime.  The American Pilot decided that he would meet this crazy Kommandant at least halfway.  So, as the other POWs were simultaneously shouting, "Tick!-Tock!", the rebellious pilot decided that he would only, 'Tick!---', "Tick!---', "Tick!---'.

This insubordination infuriated the Nazi Kommandant!  He rushed up and screamed into the face of the American pilot, "Vee haff vaays of maaking you 'TOCK!'"!!!!!!!!!!

Sooooooo, anyways......... would anyone care to discuss SMART HOME AUTOMATION?....... "Vee haff vaays of maaking you 'TOCK'"!!!
